At The Scene Of A Taxi Accident

If you are involved as a passenger in a taxi accident, if you are able

Remember the four:
  1. Take the name and address of the taxi driver, the name and phone number of the taxi company and the registration number of the taxi
  2. Take the name and address of any other drivers involved, as well as the registration number of their vehicles
  3. Take the names and addresses of any witnesses
  4. Take photos of the scene or sketch it as soon after the road accident as possible
Taking these steps will make claiming compensation more straightforward as tracking down witnesses after the event can sometimes be difficult. The exact details of where the cars were positioned and what happened in the accident are easily misremembered and sometimes disputed by the other driver, so it is important to either have photographs or a written account on paper to support your claim.
